We’re excited to announce our 2024 Christmas Card Competition. This is your chance to see your design in print and available to buy as our 2024 charity Christmas card. Everyone is invited to participate.

Information, Guidelines and Rules
1. Entry is free and designs should be emailed to [email protected].
2. Your design must be inspired by Christmas.
3. Your design must be suitable to be printed onto a square or rectangle Christmas card. Approx, ratios: 14cm x 14cm square, or 23cm x 16cm rectangle.
4. Competitors may interpret Christmas in any way they wish, using any medium or technique, but please keep in mind that we are looking for a design that has a seasonal appeal.
5. Competitors may submit as many entries as they wish but they must be their own work.
6. The closing date for entries to be received is Friday 11 October 2024.
7. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
8. When submitting your entry, please include your name, and contact telephone number
9. Your design should be sent in the highest resolution as a jpeg, png or pdf file.
10. By submitting your entry by email, you are agreeing to the competition rules.
11. Entry to the competition will be taken as permission to use your artwork on cards to be
12. sold to raise funds for the Catherine McEwan Foundation.
13. As a condition of entry, you agree to grant the Catherine McEwan Foundation license to reproduce your design for the purpose of (i) on our Christmas cards, (ii) the promotion of cards sales including online.
14. For avoidance of doubt, all proceeds from sales of the cards printed with designs
submitted for the competition will go into the Catherine McEwan Foundation, and no
fees or expenses will be paid to the persons who have freely submitted their artwork.
15. The Christmas Card printed with the winning design will credit the artist on the reverse of the card.
16. The winning competitor will receive a prize of a £30 Amazon Voucher and a framed copy of their winning design.
Judging Criteria
1. Any entries not complying to the competition rules will not be put forward for judging.
2. Artwork will be judged by a panel comprising representatives from the Catherine McEwan Foundation.
3. The panel will assess the quality of the artwork, creativity, originality, Christmas sales appeal, subject matter, and the overall impression of the work.
