JKR Charity Ball

On Saturday 5th of Nov the JKR Charity Ball will take place at the Grand Central Hotel to raise funds for the company’s partner charity The Catherine McEwan Foundation.

The Ball is organised by Lynn and Alexander Rankin in loving memory of JKR’s founder John Rankin who lost his flight against cancer in 2019. John was known within his company and within the business community as someone who was fair and kind, with a strong sense of duty to ‘give back’ to the community and charitable causes.

The loss of John was devastating for Lynn and Alex but they are determined to honour John’s wishes to ‘give back.’ The Rankin’s chose to work with the Catherine McEwan Foundation as they were blown away with the teams dedication and the positive impact that the the charity has made over the last 20 years to those living with IBD in Scotland.

Lynn said: ‘To be able to work with a charity who’s core values would have very much aligned with those of John’s is a really special way to honour his memory. The Catherine McEwan Foundation are making a real difference to the IBD community in Scotland and we are proud to support that in any way we can.’

Tickets and tables for the ball are on sale now at the price of £85.00 and £850.00. The ticket includes a welcome drink, delicious 3 course meal and a program of entertainment.
