Programme

You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. – C.S Lewis

We know how challenging it can be when you’re living with someone who has IBD. We also know that when you are the parent or carer of a young person living with IBD, the challenges are very different.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with the fantastic Mark Brown and his ‘Best of You’ Programme. Mark has been delivering his award-winning personal development programmes for adults and young people throughout Scotland for 12 years and we are now super excited to offer this fantastic programme to our Catherine McEwan Foundation Community!

Dates: 10th, 17th and 24th March 2025 at Double tree by Hilton, Glasgow. 5.30pm – 8.30pm

Our first programme will be for Parents/Carers of young people with IBD and will be delivered in series of 3 masterclasses and workshops which will focus on;

  • Highly effective skills and tools to help manage the stress, worry and anxiety that comes with living with and looking after people with IBD
  • Powerful strategies to help create conditions to support our children to thrive and not just survive their condition
  • Tried and tested methods which will positively impact personal levels of confidence, motivation, self-belief and the ability to remain calm when faced with chaos, challenge and adversity.

All stages of this programme will be delivered by Mark who is a speaker, coach, facilitator, trainer and author of the best-selling book, ‘The Best of You’. The programme will be delivered in a relaxed manner and for a small group of only 12 people, so we would ask for 1 application per family only please.
